Sri Lankan Biology Olympiad 2010

Sri Lankan Biology Olympiad 2010 examination was conducted on Sunday 27 June 2010 at Colombo, Eastern, Jaffna, Peradeniya, Ruhuna and Sri Jayewardenepura Universities.

Results of 2010 Sri Lankan Biology Olympiad

Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal winners will be requested to participate Medal Awarding Ceremony at IOB sessions on 24 September 2010 at 8.00 am at SLAAS Auditorium, "Vidya Mandiraya", 120/10, Wijerama Road, Colombo 7 to accept their medals.  

Marks more than 80 - Gold Medals
Marks between 76-80 - Silver Medals
Marks between 73-75 - Bronze Medals

Best three students will also be felicitated with other National Olympiad winners (such as Physics, Mathematics Olympiad) at World Science Day Ceremony, organized by National Science Foundation held at BMICH, Colombo in November.

Out of the gold medallists, four students will be selected after another examination, to participate International Biology Olympiad to be held in Chinese Thaipai in July 2011. (But to participate International Competition age of the contestants should be below 20 years of age on 30 June 2011.)
