Achieving a circular and sustainable bioeconomy”, Annual Sessions of IOBSL – 2024

We are pleased to announce the 44th Annual Sessions of Institute of Biology, Sri Lanka to be held on 27th September 2024. The abstracts are invited from the members on the theme of “Achieving a circular and sustainable bioeconomy” under four tracks: Zoology and Environment Sciences, Plant sciences and Agriculture, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, and Microbiology and Chemical Biology. The abstracts will be selected for oral or poster presentations, after a peer evaluation process. The best presenter of each track will be recognized with the Best Presenter Award. The abstracts are to be submitted through the Microsoft CMT platform.

Registration for the annual sessions will be open soon.

Important Dates:

  • Submission deadline: 30th June 2024
  • Notification of Acceptance: 2nd September 2024
  • Annual Symposium: 27th September 2024
